Engineering

In 2015, I was honored as one of ASABE’s New Faces of Engineering. The Salinas Californian wrote a fun article about my work for the Natural Resources Conservation Service along California’s Central Coast.

Running

In 2019 I ran every step of every street of Monterey, California. It was super-fun to explore each corner of my town. The Monterey County Weekly wrote an article about my exploits. I’m really proud of the positive response I received around town and the inspiration I could give others to pursue their own adventures.

Rangering

In 2024, I spent my 3rd summer patrolling the wildflower meadows of of Albion Basin, in Alta, atop Little Cottonwood Canyon. Alta is known for its world-class skiing, but myself and many others love it for the incredible variety and dazzling colors of the summer wildflower season. Fox 13 News interviewed me as part of a wonderful little piece on how to love the flowers wihtout harming them.
